Electrical Engineer working in International Sales

My last employer was Advanced Control Systems, a supplier of SCADA
(Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Systems for Electrical Utilities, that used HP workstations operating in UNIX.

I speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently. I have prepared bids written in
French by Hydro Quebec of Canada.

I am looking for a part time position that does not require traveling. Could
be Application Engineer or Export Manager. I have experience in export

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the design, layout, testing and evaluation of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems.

  • Prepares design specifications, analysis and recommendations for presentation and approval.

  • Analyzes mechanical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

  • Investigates solutions to product or process problems.

  • Consolidates results of mechanical design elements for assigned projects.

  • Conducts investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component or process specifications or requirements.

  • Performs product development activities including Pro-Engineer layout and interpretation/implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.

  • Be seen as the technical focal point on product and or system development.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in leading design development in electrical packaging.

Experience:

  • Define and run mechanical analysis using FEA , CFD experience a plus.
    Must be able to provide guidance and direction over the mechanical design of products or systems.

  • Must be able to effectively estimate and track schedule for own work.
    Must have experience delegating assignments to designers, technicians, and other mechanical engineers.

Job Description:


Candidate will facilitate fact-based decision making by means of marketing research, market data analysis and data reviews at decision making platforms.

KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Strategic Planning process by providing insights on market, products and competitive environment.

  • Position will include; providing insights from custom market research and secondary data sources, use of state of the art market research techniques, support standardization of research methodologies across the Globe, and project management of custom market studies in response to internal client needs of the Pharmaceutical, Vision Care and Surgical Strategy groups.

  • Candidate will have full responsibility of the Global IMS database, including supplier management, data analysis and data reporting (including dashboard reporting to CSB and the CEO).

  • Will be responsible for reviewing results and identify business implications of the results.

  • This position will participate in the Global MR Network.

Qualifications:

  • MBA or MA/MS in science/social sciences, required. International research experience a plus.

Mechanical Designer


Job Description:

  • Lays out complex drawings from generic or ambiguous instructions.
    Produce drawings to satisfy contractual requirements.

  • Process necessary documentation to support the build and evaluation of designs (i.e. P/Os, shop work orders, vendor interface, BOM’s, etc.).
    Build prototype where applicable.

  • Perform worst-case tolerance analysis for complex assemblies.

  • Works with minimal direction from Engineer or Supervisor during project execution.

  • Extensive understanding of fabrication, finishing, and assembly processes.

  • Able to research and interpret unfamiliar standards & specifications.
    Generate department standards and value-add to meet them.

  • Ability to incorporate complex change notices using various CAD packages.

  • Check designs, drawings and databases for accuracy.

  • Train and mentor other employees.

  • Contributes as a member of a project team and executes team direction.
