Swim Fun Raiser to Raise Funds for a New TAG Website!
Join us on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 for a TAG Fundraiser and Networking Event as Tracey Aiello swims the length and width of Irondquoit Bay to raise funds for the new TAG website. The August Group is a 100% volunteer organization in Rochester, NY that helps people get back to work via face-to-face networking. We do not collect any membership fees nor dues. Therefore, we hold various events throughout the year to offset expenses.
Tracey Aiello, leader of The August Group, will swim the length of Irondequoit Bay and then swim its width. The timing of this event coincides with Tracey's 65th birthday and is meant to serve as an example to job seekers that they can overcome any obstacle, regardless of age!
The swim will begin at approximately 5:30 am and is anticipated to last about 5&1/2 hours, finishing at 1208 Bay Shore Blvd. in Irondequoit. You're welcome to join us to cheer Tracey on, network with colleagues and celebrate this accomplishment!
The August Group has over 6,500 members who have joined since it was founded 13 years ago. It's estimated that The August Group has directly contributed to over 1,300 members finding employment. In addition to several weekly meetings held in the Rochester area, The August Group also organizes two Career Fairs each year.
